Tiled Files
I will be converting all of my larger patterns to tiled versions that can be sent via email as time allows. All tiled versions will contain crop marks on each page, and an overprint of ¼ of an inch. All pages also contain page numbering, listing both column and row designations, but this information will be lost when the page is trimmed.
The easiest way to assemble these files is to transfer the page numbering onto the inner part of the page first. I do this to all pages at once. Then to trim all pages to crop marks; which is easiest done with a paper trimmer. Then I overlay and tape together each row. Then align and tape the rows together.
Warning!
A tiled file is not going to be easy or fun to assemble. This option is best left for those who “must” have the pattern within 24 hours or that live in a different country. Due to the way the pattern falls and the overlap and crop mark spacing, it can take 30-50 pages to print out a large pattern. It is a time-consuming process to assemble the pattern after printing it.
