This is the perfect Halloween costume for the just-walking toddler that you know you will end up carrying most of the way. It’s cheap and easy to make (no sewing required) and everyone will LOVE it! At least three people actually thought we were there to deliver a package and everyone we passed commented on it.
To make your costume you will need:
Find enough large boxes to stack on top of each others to reach 60% up the dolly. To make it more realistic you can wrap some of them in brown paper or take labels off boxes you receive and glue on so they are visible. Use bungee cords to secure to dolly.

Find a small box about the height of your child from waist to neck. Cut out bottom and a section in the front for his legs to come through. Cut out arm holes and most of top for their head.

Find, or make, two small boxes a little longer/wider/higher than their feet. Cut out ˝ of top so you can easily slip on.

Dress them in a solid sweat suit or pajamas. Set child on top of boxes and secure with a bungee. You may need to place a pillow behind them for support.

Take an old baseball cap and paint it dark brown with spray paint. Using construction paper (or felt) to recreate the UPS logo and glue to front of hat. Tip: If brown is not your color, check out the colors and logos for other shipping companies: Fed Ex, DHL, etc.

Wear a brown shirt and glue another logo to chest area.

For a “goodie” bag you can take an extra small box. Or, you can take an old clipboard and cut out a circle in the middle of it. Then glue a plastic bag underneath it – that way you can hold out the clipboard at each door.
