Swaddle Blanket Pattern

Swaddling has long been recognised as one of the best ways to quite a fussing baby. It promotes a sence of security, keeps babies from being disturbed by their own startle reflex, and helps them stay warm until their internal thermostat kicks in.

Although it's ture that the benefits of swaddling are well known, the act of swaddling is another story. Many mothers have struggled to reproduce the "perfect bundle" they saw in the hospital. It’s not nearly as easy as they make it look! Take the hassle out of swaddling by using a blanket DESIGNED to swaddle a baby.

Special features of the Swaddle Blanket Pattern include:

  3. Deep pocket has elastic end to aid in diaper changes,
  4. Partial elastic neckline to keep blanket from gapping open around neck,
  5. Deep inner pocket, and
  6. Hat in two sizes.
