Free Directions for Making a "No-Sew" Reindeer Hat
This quick and easy Reindeer hat is sure to please the little ones in your family. So easy and economical to make you can make one for all your nieces and nephews. When the holiday season is over the gloves pull right off and the hat retains its year-round usefulness.
Supplies
To complete your hat you will need one baseball cap in a solid color, one pair of child size gloves in a solid color, and a hot glue gun.
Directions for Assembly of Your "No-Sew" Reindeer Hat
- Fill gloves with stuffing. Be sure to fill each individual finger before stuffing the palm. If you don’t have stuffing at home you can use cotton balls. Leave ¼-1/2 an inch of glove near opening unstuffed.
- Run hot glue around inside edge of glove opening and press to top of cap. Hold until glue cools. Face each glove so the thumbs point toward the inside. Be careful to place them in the center of the hat.
- Enjoy! For Christmas day you can add bells, tinsel, or ribbons to make them even more special.
Tips
Use any combination of hat and glove combinations to make your “reindeers” original!
If you do not plan on reusing your hat later you can mark the location of the gloves on the hat prior to gluing them on to ensure correct locations.
If you get your gloves on and realize they are not even, don’t panic! Just pull one loose and remove all glue from the hat. Then re-glue on.
